About MRA Institute

MRA is an independent research organization based in Kabul, conducting tailor made research in adverse conditions across Afghanistan. EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE: MRA Researchers have conducted in-country research for the past 4 years.

MRA is an Afghan-registered, Kabul based company, providing employment to over 400 local field staff, 10 permanent local staff, and 4 international experts. Plus, MRA collaborates with subject matter experts for various sectors for optimal impact.

Project Teams

Each project is resourced with appropriate profile of experts and managers. For all quantitative research, MRA utilizes statisticians experienced in applying social research analysis to data in Afghanistan.

Our REACH

NETWORK: We utilize our dense National Network across Afghanistan of over 400 field staff with offices in the main regional centers of Kabul, Jalalabad, Gardez, Kandahar, Herat, Mazar-e Sharif.

MRA covers the entire and nearly every district of Afghanistan. We specialize in working in sensitive areas so to include the most marginalized sub-sections of the population.
